Gracing the serene stage chic songstress style, she opened to rapturous track “High” and silky smooth “Add To Me” from her Grammy nominated 2017 eighth studio album Let Love Rule, gearing up her amorous audience.
Lacing her vibrant vocals on feel good tune “WKND”, she broke lose on “Knocking” putting down that old school funktafied flavor then eased the tempo with “Alright”, her hit single off third album Lost & Found.
Taking a pause, she intimately spoke with listeners on its creative journey, “I wrote this song on the floor”, said the powerhouse vocalist while questioning her fate in the music industry. “But my momma said to me Ledisi, you goin’ be alright” having fans burst into harmonious applause with chants of “We love you Ledisi” echoing the Maximus Circus Theater.
